Jonas has just finished directing and exec producing all 6 episodes of BLOOD CRUISE for Imaginarium/SVT/CBS. He also recently directed THE HELICOPTER HEIST for Netflix.

Jonas’ first feature WHEN ANIMALS DREAM debuted at Cannes Critics’ Week/Caméra d’Or and went on to screen at 40+ festivals including the London Film Festival. It's a smart, stylish coming-of-age film about a teenage girl living in a small fishing town who discovers she’s a werewolf. The film was released in the UK by Altitude and the US by RADiUS-TWC to great reviews.

He then went on to direct EXIT PLAN / SUICIDE TOURIST, an existential mystery thriller featuring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (GAME OF THRONES), which opened at the Sitges and Zurich Film Festivals 2019. 

Other television credits include, DARKNESS: THOSE WHO KILL for BBC 4 and WAR OF THE WORLDS by Howard Overman, for Urban Myth Films/Fox/ Disney+. The critically-acclaimed series stars Gabriel Byrne, Elizabeth McGovern and Lea Drucker. 

He was also exec producing and directing the first season of the thriller VERONIKA for SHOWTIME, which was released 2024 and is currently shooting THE UNIFORM, Danish drama produced by Miso Film/Fremantle screening 2026.
